big thanks go out to Generic Insight Radio for lettin us rock out on their program. if you guys like our music at all, you should definitely check them out because it's a two-hour program full of just that. they play everything from the most well-known of punk and hardcore from the past three decades to today's best rising punk rock outfits. they're based out of Brooklyn, NYC and pretty much most of the unsigned artists on the program are from around that area, which is why we would like to show our appreciation for playing a band from all the way down here. anyway, paul thinks the program is probably also a podcast, so check out their website, www.freewebs.com/genericinsightradio. Generic Insight Radio airs every wednesday night from 10PM - midnight, and all the info on how to listen is on that homepage.

well, it's been a little while since we've posted. we enjoyed our short little break and wrote some music for you guys. you'll probably be hearin some of it on FM99 and 96X's Punk Show this summer and the full length album is expected this year some time. we're tryin out new drummers too by the way, so if you're interested just e-mail us @ booking@ahopelessmotive.com or contact us on our myspace. this site is still not quite finished, we still are workin on getting online merchandising and have a little more art to do. other than that, we just wanted to let you guys know that we didn't die or become monks in Tibet or anything like that. keep posted.

sorry to everyone who didn't show up last night due to the weather. you guys seriously missed out. of course, the show must go on, so we played under pavilions, while everyone there proceeded to play on the jungle gym, slide bar, tire swing, regular swing, twirly slide, regular slide, and every other piece of children amusement equipment available. serious thanks to the surprisingly enormous crowd that made it out, and stayed the whole time. we hope you enjoyed the bands that came from all over, out of state and local, to tear it up. we literally played until we got kicked out, and it looks like everyone had a great time. this will definitely happen again in the future. once again, a very special thanks to The Beat-N-Path for sanctioning this all-day "Woodstock" extravaganza. see you all there next time.

wow, where to start. lots of stuff has gone down since our last update... firstly, thanks to FM99 WNOR for the airtime tonight. they have invited us to be interviewed on Homegrown in an indefinite number of weeks. we'll keep you posted on that.

secondly, congratulations and welcome to sam karr, our new drummer. he has played in bands with us in the past, but now he is going to be filling in jake's shoes. jake, unfortunately, had to resign due to life issues right now. we wish him the best of luck and give him our support.

well, think that's all the important stuff for right now, we'll write more later on this week when we find out when we'll be in for Homegrown. peace!
